Sarah was thrilled to be a part of The 5th annual Jewish Playwriting Contest, which returned to The Jewish Arts Collaborative in Boston on Tuesday, April 12th, 2016. An international search for the best unpublished Jewish plays, the Jewish Plays Project allows Boston audiences to enjoy – and judge – this year’s top three.
David Witinsky, the founder of the Jewish Plays Project, directed the readings at the Lyric Stage in Boston. Sarah Paton played Sadie in Redder Blood, by Helen Murray Pafumi and Leyla in Match, by Jennifer Maisel.
“The Jewish Plays Project engages Jewish communities in the vetting, selecting and championing of new voices; and secures mainstream production opportunities for the best new plays." (David Winitsky)
