Sarah is also a founding member of The Hummm Theater Collective.
The Hummm makes magical, image-based, non-linear theatre. Their mission is to disrupt preconceived notions about the avant-garde (as boring, pretentious, or inaccessible) by working with playful and improv-based forms that purposefully democratize the experimental.
The Hummm's creative team are all members of the 2016 MFA class from The A.R.T./Moscow Art Theater School Institute at Harvard University. After graduation, they set out to form a theater collective that would employ the skills the learned during their graduate training in Cambridge, Moscow and Poland. Using the Russian "etudes" and Polish "constructions," they now devise highly physical, vibrant, feminist new work.
